About Us
We're Shady Creek Winery and we've been a vineyard and winery here in Michigan City , IN, since 2009. We produce over 28 different wines, including sweet, sparkling, dry white, and dry red wines. Our goal is to combine first-class wine and food in the heart of the Midwest to introduce or further enhance a love of wine to our guests. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Michigan City and the surrounding communities. The winery is beautiful! Very nice atmosphere inside and out. There is plenty of outdoor seating for any type of event. The prices are reasonable. It was my first time experiencing outside, and it wasn't the full effect, so I must go again.

This is a self-serve restaurant. Upon being seated at your table take note of the number on the wine barrel centerpiece. You will need to remember it when you go to the bar and order your foods and drinks. Very quick service and lovely staff; we ordered the mussels and they were delicious! Recommend getting one of the wine flights as each glass is suspended individually on its holder! The backyard is perfect for small ceremonies and such pretty lighting.

We celebrated a rehearsal dinner here so didn't eat in the restaurant. But it is beautiful here. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. I didn't even know this place was here before this event.
